This program teaches people to be leaders in their community to having rewarding careers in the outdoors such as Wilderness First Responder EMT, Firefighting Wildfires, Rescue, and Guiding Careers in Fishing, Hunting, Wilderness, and Survival Industry.

    Why Bear Rocks Guide School and not some of the other well known Alternative Schools?

    The answer to this Question is;

    At Bear Rocks Guide School you will receive training that will benefit you or you’re at risk child for a Career in the Wilderness Guiding Industry. This encompasses many different types of job descriptions, that upon completion of this 6 week course, will qualify you or your child, a rewarding career in helping people in need, to service based Jobs such as Guiding for back packers, extreme sports enthusiast, at risk youth councilor, youth leadership programs, corporate leadership development course councilor … You get the Idea!

    Many at risk or development Wilderness Schools for youth do a great job! But they only address behavior problems without giving training that will benefit the youth beyond knowing how to act and react in society. We do much more than that and then some more. We give life skills. Direction or a path is given for the student to then transfer these skills into rewarding careers, upon completion of the Extreme Wilderness Course. A whole New World of opportunities that they or you never new existed!

    Bear Rocks Guide School will make these same at risk kids into leaders in their communities. With real life skills that help people in need! Many at risk kids do want a better way of life and just do not know which direction to go in. Many feel that College is not an option. This is the option for those at risk people to find what they are looking for and also to send them into the world ready to be a service to the community they live in!
